LaShonda + Grant
"Our story starts a little over 20 years ago. A friend introduced us, I
(LaShonda) was in junior high and Grant was a freshman in high school. We
spent many nights watching dollar movies and eating taco bell. As most
young couples, we separated and dated other people. But in the end we
were destined to be together. We had a bond no one could brake.
Everything from homecoming, afroball and prom, we spent those special
occasions together. As a teenager you may think you are in love, but as
we grew older we really understood what love was.
As we approached our adult years, it was apparent we couldn't be separated. We did everything backwards, we bought a house, had kids and
finally tied the knot June 9, 2012, but it worked for us. Although
we waited a long time to make a life long commitment, we have grown to
really know each other. Neither of us would change it. We have 2
beautiful children, we love each other and are in love. Trust and
honesty will keep us together."
