About Me

Photos by Yvonne: My name is Yvonne Moryc and I am a Toledo, Ohio and South East Michigan based photographer. I LOVE being around people in love! Oh, and I LOVE my job!!! In 1996, I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Akron. I majored in Graphic Design and minored in Computer Imaging, Illustration and Photography. From there I pursued Graphic Design in print for 15 years, where I learned all the latest and greatest software in the industry with a complete understanding of color and printing techniques. I fell in love with wedding photography when a friend asked me to help her shoot a wedding in 2008 from then on I was TOTALLY HOOKED!!! I registered with the State of Michigan as a legitimate business and went on to market myself as a wedding photographer. I then realized that not only do I love photographing weddings, but also babies, families and high school seniors. I came to realize that I love to be around happy people - it was a concept that took me a long time to figure out! Now I cherish every moment that I'm in a photo session and look for all those small details that so often go unnoticed.
